Here's a beautiful Black Bellied Plover Decoy from the turn of the 19th century. Attributed to Absecon, NJ. The maker is unknown. Mostly Original paint with white touch ups. Hand carved with nice raised carved wings with no eye paint. Scratch on right side. Wire bill is original to the decoy. Great patina, minor wear & a couple of shot marks.
