We got this Vintage Shorebird Decoy by Will E Kirkpatrick of Hudson, MA during a recent Long Island Auction. It was one in a lot of four decoys.The auction catalogue
"One of a set of four artfully made wooden bird figurines with stands. The figures are very neatly painted. Three of the four figures are marked on the bottom: WEK 83 and have the tag from the MACKEY COLLECTION."

The drill hole has a split. This shorebird is Branded WEK on the bottom.
The Well Carved Slightly Cocked Head looks Forward. Head is in very good structural condition with Nicely Carved Face/Beak Separation. This decoy has tack eyes.
This shorebird comes with a Larger Driftwood Cedar stand and when mounted is about 9 Inches Long - Height is about 9 1/2 Inches - Width is about 5 Inches - Total Weight is just over 20 ounces.
